29.03.2012 MyotonPRO presented at the Third International Fascia Research Congress 2012
The Fascia Research Group from the Division of Neurophysiology of the University of Ulm and the Center for Integrative Therapy from Stuttgart presented the study results of "Assessment of Myofascial Trigger Point Release with a novel Myometer (MyotonPRO) in addition to an Algometer" at the Third International Fascia Research Congress in Vancouver 28th-30th March 2012. In the study the MyotonPRO was used as an objective diagnostic tool to assess efficiency of Myofascial Trigger Point Release technique.

15.12.2011 MyotonPRO tested successfully in the Parabolic Flight Campaign
Myoton participated successfully in the 55th Parabolic Flight Campaign organized by European Space Agency in Bordeaux, France between 21st - 25th of November 2011. The international research team used MyotonPRO device to successfully collected thousands of muscle measurements from human subjects in microgravity, including the renowned French astronaut Thomas Pesquet.

Scientists in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southampton have initiated a series of reliability studies with the novel MyotonPRO device on healthy adults.

25.08.2011 Clinical study at Prince Charles Hospital
A clinical study with the MyotonPRO device is due to start at Prince Charles Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in Wales. The hospital at Merthyr Tydfil has over 430 beds as well as 7 operating theaters that provide acute emergency, elective medical and surgical services to the local community.

10.07.2011 Myoton filed a new patent
Myoton AS has filed a new patent for the development of the next generation of skeletal muscle assessment. The patent is for the new MyotonPRO device as well as novel measurement parameters, namely Creep-ability and Mechanical Stress Relaxation time.

20.05.2011 Reliability study at the Schulthess Clinic in Zurich
Schulthess Clinic's Neuromuscular Research Laboratory will conduct validation study to assess the reliability and repeatability of the MyotonPRO device. Schulthess Clinic in Zürich is the official site for Swiss Olympic Medical Center and the research center for the International Football Federation (FIFA) with a medical staff of over 800 and over 13,000 surgical interventions conducted per year.

04.05.2011 Myoton scheduled for ESA's Parabolic Flight
Myoton has been selected for the 55th European Space Agency (ESA) parabolic flight campaign to its merits for potential future use on astronauts in space. This study, which is coordinated and financed by Center Hospitalier Universitaire, is a joint effort by ESA, German Space Agency (DLR), German Sport University Cologne and Myoton.

Myoton and European Space Agency signed an agreement with to undertake the project entitled "Application of the MyotonPRO Device for Medical Measurements of Superficial Skeletal Muscle Tone and Biomechanical Properties in Microgravity".
