Aleko Peipsi – CEO, CTO
Mr. Peipsi is a seasoned CEO with a strong entrepreneurial background. He has a proven set of project leadership and product development skills that have enabled the efficient and rapid research, development and launch of the new technology through the MyotonPRO platform. He also is expertly proficient in developing financial projections for companies with complex business models. Mr. Peipsi's methodical and thorough approach to problem solving together with a rigorous understanding of the challenges faced in developing sustainable businesses makes him an invaluable leader of the Myoton team.
Mr. Peipsi joined Myoton after successfully exiting from Nordic Biodiesel, a renewable energy start-up where he developed an innovative transesterification technology via supercritical synthesis in monovalent alcohol for alternative biofuel production. In 2007 Nordic Biodiesel was acquired by a consortium of Belgian and Dutch technology companies. Prior to that Mr. Peipsi worked as the CEO of Airest AS, an international air-cargo carrier serving the needs of large clients such as UPS, Italian Post, Czech Post and others.
One of the notable roles in Mr. Peipsi's career, was as Managing Director of Logistics and IT at Baltika AS (NASDAQ OMX symbol: BLT1T), where he created a comprehensive management system for organization's business processes. As a result, Baltika's management process became transparent, efficient and easier to operate.

PhD, Dr. Habil. Biol. Arved Vain – Inventor
Dr. Vain has devoted most of his professional career to research on the topic of biomechanics of the human movement and skeletal muscles. As a result of his extensive research, Dr. Vain invented and patented the “Method and a Device for Recording Mechanical Oscillations in Soft Biological Tissues” via University of Tartu and developed the very first experimental prototype of Myoton technology in 1976.
In 1999, Dr. Vain co-founded spin-off company Myoton AS (formerly known as "Müomeetria AS") to continue the research and development of muscle assessment technology in the private sector. He also served as a Chairman of the Council and main developer of earlier versions of Myoton.
Dr. Vain holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Tartu, Estonia. Dr. Vain has acted as scientific supervisor for more than 10 PhD dissertations and authored over 200 scientific articles on Biomechanics of Skeletal Muscles and on Movement Analysis.

Mary Anne Cordeiro – UK Managing Director
Ms Cordeiro is very active as an advisor to innovative companies in the healthcare sector. Her current clients include a number of device, diagnostic, orthopaedic, drug delivery and therapeutic businesses which require advice on business and funding strategy. She has also evaluated new technologies that address important healthcare needs and has cultivated a network of practitioners, industry experts and a network of investors in Asia and Europe. She is an active business angel investor and regularly reviews investment opportunities for two groups of Oxford and London-based angel networks.
Ms Cordeiro is a Non-Executive Director of Albion Income & Growth VCT PLC ("Albion VCT") where she is one of five board members responsible for overseeing the investment strategy of Albion VCT and the performance of the investment manager, Albion Ventures LLP. This gives her a unique insight into the issues associated with early stage technology investment and the features that venture capital investors seek when structuring deals. Ms Cordeiro has a unique combination of skills, experience and alliances to assist the boards of SMEs to develop into global businesses. She graduated with an MA Honours (Oxon) degree in Chemistry.
Ms Cordeiro is assisting Myoton in its clinical strategy in order to create the optimal commercialization and funding strategy for the business. She is actively involved in managing the trials for Myoton at Southampton University and the Royal Veterinary College.

Rait Ojasaar, VP of Business Development
Rait Ojasaar is a serial-entrepreneur with experience in several technology companies as a founder, angel investor and advisor.
Rait graduated from the Estonian Business School, where he majored in International Business Administration and specialized in Marketing and Public Relations.
He has successfully co-founded and exited a novel fuel technology company, Nordic Biodiesel, where his main responsibilities were the reorganization and restructuring of the company. He prepared and managed a successful private financing round of €1.4M and a further public financing round of €1M. Rait involved and motivated an international team of experts in order to advance development to the next level and lead the management buyout process by new international strategic shareholders. In addition, Rait has been involved at a senior management level in various international technology businesses, ranging from development of the enterprise software to online collaborative gaming platforms and mobile applications. His current active projects include self-publishing platform provider, Publification, as well as executive-coaching and angel investment company Solon Partners.
